Services
I provide psychotherapy services grounded in a collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are in their unique life journey. As a psychologist with an integrative therapeutic style, I specialize in working with diverse populations across the lifespan. My practice emphasizes evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to address anxiety and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Additionally, I incorporate principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in leading meaningful, value-driven lives.
Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Contrary to popular belief—and despite what you might see in movies and on television—OCD is much more than just excessive hand washing or an obsession with neatness. It encompasses a wide range of concerns rooted in core fears that many may not even recognize. These concerns include persistent worries about germs, misplacing or forgetting items, the need for things to be “just right,” and upsetting, intrusive thoughts that seem impossible to dismiss. Often, individuals try to control these anxieties by engaging in rituals or compulsions that, paradoxically, only reinforce the cycle of worry and suffering.

Research shows that Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) is the most effective first-line treatment for OCD. ERP not only provides symptom relief but also targets the underlying core fear, empowering you to build strength and resilience for long-term recovery. In my practice, we will work to develop an individualized treatment plan that helps you to break free from OCD and regain control of your life.
Anxiety-related Disorders
Anxiety-related disorders encompass a large group of conditions—from generalized anxiety about everyday worries to unexpected panic attacks that seem to arise out of nowhere. These disorders can present with both mental symptoms, such as persistent worry and intrusive thoughts, and physical symptoms like muscle tension, a racing heart, and shortness of breath.
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) are among the most effective treatments for anxiety-related disorders. In my practice, we will work together to confront and reframe anxious thoughts while gradually reducing avoidance and building tolerance for anxiety-provoking situations. Over time, this approach can help you address both the emotional and physical aspects of anxiety, paving the way for lasting relief.
Depressive Disorders
Depressive disorders go beyond temporary sadness—they can deeply affect mood, thoughts, and daily functioning. Symptoms may include persistent feelings of hopelessness, loss of interest in activities, difficulty concentrating, changes in sleep or appetite, fatigue, and even physical symptoms like aches or slowed movement. In some cases, depression can also involve feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or thoughts of self-harm.
Clients struggling with depression often express a desire to "get back to my old self." Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavioral activation are among the most effective treatments to achieve this. In my practice, we will work to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns while re-engaging in meaningful activities. My goal is to help you rediscover your old self--or in building a new version of yourself that you can be proud of.
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is more than just difficulty paying attention—it’s a neurodevelopmental condition that affects focus, impulse control, and organization. Symptoms can vary but often include trouble sustaining attention, forgetfulness, difficulty completing tasks, restlessness, and impulsivity. While commonly diagnosed in childhood, ADHD also affects adults, often impacting work, relationships, and daily responsibilities.

The most effective treatments typically include behavioral therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I will help you to develop strategies for organization, time management, and impulse control. My goal is to support you build skills needed to navigate challenges and maximize your strengths.
Autism spectrum Disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects social communication, sensory processing, and behavior. Since ASD exists on a spectrum, individuals may experience a wide range of challenges and strengths. Common traits include difficulty with social interactions, differences in verbal and nonverbal communication, repetitive behaviors, intense focus on specific interests, and sensitivity to sensory input such as sounds, textures, or lights.

In my practice, treatment for ASD is individualized, focusing on support rather than "curing" autism. I primarily work with individuals on the higher end of the spectrum, using behavioral therapies, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help develop communication, social, and adaptive skills. My goal is to tailor support that can help you or your child navigate the environment, build meaningful connections, and enhance quality of life.
Parent-child management
Parent-child management focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship while promoting healthy behavior and emotional regulation. Effective strategies emphasize consistency, positive reinforcement, and clear communication to encourage desired behaviors and reduce conflict. Common challenges may include tantrums, defiance, emotional outbursts, or struggles with routines and transitions.

There are many evidence-based approaches to help parents navigate difficulties with their children. In my practice, I guide parents in developing skills to set appropriate boundaries, reinforce positive behavior, and respond to misbehavior in a calm and effective way. My goal is to help you build confidence in your decision-making and to gain a greater sense of control over the challenges you are facing. One thing I remind parents: You have more power than you may think you do.
